Trump needs to hurry up and pick last CFTC commissioners
This week Brian Quintenz was sworn in as a commissioner at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), after he was confirmed alongside chairman Christopher Giancarlo and Rostin Behnam by the Senate two weeks ago.
While this is welcome news, it is long overdue, and the Trump administration simply cannot dally any longer in selecting the final two candidates.
To put matters into perspective, the Commission has hobbled along with just two commissioners for the past six months.
In fact, it hasn’t been fully staffed
