Term Funding Scheme financing hits £75bn in June

UK lenders had drawn over £75bn ($98.24bn) from the Bank of England’s Term Funding Scheme (TFS) as of June 30, according to figures released by the central bank on Thursday.

The scheme is slated to extend £115bn of low cost funding to UK lenders by the time it wraps up in February 2016, with the aim of encouraging lending to the real economy.
