Weichai Power charges up with $775m bond

Chinese state-owned Weichai Power Co priced a $775m senior perpetual bond on Thursday, enjoying a quiet day of issuance to bag a deal inside analysts’ fair value estimates.

Books for the perpetual non call five year were opened on Thursday morning Asia time, when joint global co-ordinators, joint lead managers and joint bookrunners Barclays and JP Morgan released initial guidance in the 4.25% area.
