Unilever keeps sterling run going
Anglo-Dutch consumer goods company Unilever printed the fifth sterling corporate bond deal in three days on Monday. The £500m dual tranche deal offered investors seven and 12 year tenors.
Similar to the trend in the euro corporate bond market today, Unilever extended the range of its sterling bond curve, but had to pay double digit new issue premiums for both tranches. Before this deal it had only 2018 and 2022 maturities outstanding.BNP Paribas
